    Hello everybody,

I order new bmw123d M-sport, black. I'm still waiting for the car. But I have to buy a winter wheels now.
That's why I have some questions:
Firstly what do You think about the look of 3-door black Msport with the V-speiche 141 and V-speiche 142? With will look better??
Is anybody has photo with msport and Vspeiche 141??

Is there will be a problem in winter to have V speiche 142 with front 205/50 r17 and rear 225/45 r17? Becouse of snow and ice??? Is it possible to use 142 7,5" with 205/50r17?

    Thank's for Your opinion
    Cheers

    Hi wojtek22 and wellcome!

    I would take the V-Speiche 141, I find it's much better looking.

I would also say that there won't be any problem using the mixed tires on front and rear wheels, but as you already mentioned, smaller tires are better for snow and ice. Why don't you take 205/50 17 on front an rear?

But there are specialized guys here in the thread, they can help you far better than I do!

Wait for an answer, I'm sure you will get the right one soon.

C u and have fun her with us in the forum.

    Kind regards,

    Patrick

    Hello wojtek22 and welcome.

It's no problem to put 205's on the 7,5 rim. It may however look a bit funny.

Personnaly I like the 141 bette but from experience I can tell you they are not the easiest to clean.

There is a 3rd option: take two sets of 142 front wheels.

How about the 256's however. In my opinion they are nice too and easy to clean.

I hope this info can help you in your decision.

Best regards from overhere in Holland,

    Paul

225 should be fine during winter, however I'm not sure if you can get
    snow chains
I would prefer one size all around, couze you can then easily interchange
    from front to back

205mm should also be no problem with a 7,5'' rim!
Interchanging front and rear obviously should be avoided...

    Thank's for Your opinion,
226 wheels I couldn't buy becouse they cost a lot in Poland.

I will decide to buy 141 becouse they are 7inch and it would be possible to use 205/50 r17 with any problem.

What do You think about the winter tyre? Becouse I didn't drive bmw 1 with M-spot packet I fear about the comfort on our badly polish roads.
That's why I think to buy a non RunFlat tyres?

What do You think is it a good idea? The comfort will improve with non-RFT tyres?

    Sorry for my English:)
    Regards

I´ve got 205/50 17 Pirelli Sottozero RFT (on 141 V-spoke wheels), which are providing a very satisfying grip level particularly under snowy conditions.

    Cheers,
    Andreas

In Poland we have a lot of snow on roads in winter, only main (national) roads are snow removal. On rest roads there are snow and ice, the ride is realy dangerous and sometimes is very funny:)

To the girls, Yes they are as pretty as You heard.
that's why You should visit Poland.

    Regards
    Wojtek
