Diskutiere 235/35-19 front and 265/30-19 rear? im Sommerreifen Forum im Bereich Reifen & Felgen am 1er BMW; Hi! I don't speak german but will write in english, hope it's OK. I just bought CSL wheels for my 120dM 3d -07, 8.5x19 ET40 front and 9.5x19...

    Hi!

    I don't speak german but will write in english, hope it's OK.

    I just bought CSL wheels for my 120dM 3d -07, 8.5x19 ET40 front and 9.5x19 ET45 rear. I need to buy tires but don't know which size. I want to buy 235/35/19 front and 265/30 rear but don't know if they will fit.

    What do you think?

    Hello and welcome :)!

    You should buy 225/35R19 front and 255/30R19 rear. But at rear you have to work at the body. I hope you know that. But then it will fit.

    It depends on how you define "will it fit?". If you don't want to pull and/or roll your wheel wells, then the answer is simply no.

    In front it will fit. But in rear you have to roll your wheel wells. Then it will fit.

    But are you sure?
    This guy has 9.5 and ET45 in the rear and his car is lowered and he says that 9.5 ET45 255/30 will fit without any problems.

    The guy in that link says he has 2mm space left - this is very close to the edge and can fit on one car and not fit at all on another car. Also you would have to choose exactly the same tires as that guy to have a chance to get similar results.

    Yes but his car is lowered with springs.

    Yes, but that could be better for rubbing if your car is lowered.

    His car has 225/35R19 and 255/30R19 and it look perfect. If you look at the pics it doesn't look like it will rubb.

    Does anyone know what tyres he has on his car?

    That are Dunlop SP Sport Maxx. But it doesn't fit. He has to roll the wheel wells.
